In January 2008, a very special young dolphin joined the DRC family. Visitors are amazed at Jax's story of being found, injured and orphaned as a young calf, how he was rescued and rehabilitated and then became part of the DRC pod. Jax - A Survivor's Tail shares his story. This trailer provides a small sample of the complete video.

I think its awsome what you guys do for animals. I want to be a Zoologist when i'm older
Wow, that's awesome! Is there any chance Discovery will show it someday?
I have been to the center twice, and Jax has captured my heart. When I did the swimming experience, I was beyond thrilled when I was able to swim with him.
Max, it's possible that in the future when a television program does a story on DRC that they'll include Jax. This happened last year when Jack Hanna featured Jax on his series Into the Wild!
Can you give me any more info on what episode that was, or provide a link to a youtube video? I'd love to see it!
Max, it is Into the Wild, Season 2, Episode 212: Florida Keys. I don't know where you might find it online but perhaps it will be rebroadcast at some point!
That's really very beautiful but I don't have any live experience to see the Dolphins, but I am always interested to know about in marine's life. my bad luck here.
